Your Contributions
At ASTI, we are deeply committed to ensuring that every contribution is used responsibly and makes a meaningful difference. To uphold the highest standards of transparency and compliance, all organizations supported through ASTI are registered with the Government of India as nonprofit entities under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act and hold the required authorization under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to receive foreign funding.
Our partner organizations also provide an annual independent audit conducted by a Chartered Public Accountant, along with a detailed Annual Report describing how ASTI-supported funds are used. These measures help ensure that donor contributions are managed with care and directed toward impactful programs that serve communities across India.
ASTI is a registered 501(c)(3) public nonprofit organization in the United States, and donations made through ASTI are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law.
We are especially mindful of our responsibility to our donors. For this reason, 98 percent of all designated contributions are sent directly to approved partner organizations, ensuring that your generosity reaches the programs you care about most. The remaining 2 percent supports essential operating costs that allow ASTI to maintain oversight, compliance, and strong partnerships. Please note that standard international wire transfer fees may apply.
Thank you for your generosity and trust. Your support makes it possible for ASTI and its partners to continue advancing meaningful, life-changing work throughout India.
